The Dallas Morning News recently published an article featuring Samuel Engel, Lecturer of Marketing, discussing how DFW International Airport is investing billions of dollars into new projects.
The expansions include 15 new gates, a new terminal, and revamping of other terminals in the airport. In addition to a new look, DFW Airport is also testing new technology with artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles.
“The airport’s focus on technology adoption has been on the operation…we’re going to see more investment in technology to support revenue growth,” Engel adds.
With DFW’s changes, the entire aviation industry will continue to grow with both technological advancements and overall terminal expansion.
