CBS News Boston recently published an article featuring Jay Zagorsky, Associate Professor of Markets, Public Policy, and Law discussing the annual debate about purchasing a real or fake Christmas tree.
“Right now, there is geopolitical tension between the United States and China. And some people may not want to support the Chinese economy by buying an artificial tree which is probably going to be made in China”, Zagorsky says.
Despite the environmental effects that come with tree purchasing, the better economic choice remains up to individuals each year.
