Questrom was recognized as a top-30 Part-Time MBA Program and a top-50 Business School by U.S. News & World Report
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Boston University Questrom School of Business announced today that it has risen multiple spots in this year’s U.S. News & World Report rankings. Questrom now ranks at No. 29 among Part-Time MBA Programs (up from No. 33), and No. 46 among Best Business Schools (up from No. 50). These improvements are the culmination of several new initiatives and programs launched by Questrom over the past year that showcase the school’s world-class educational and research endeavors.
Recent Questrom achievements and highlights include:
- The recognition of multiple Questrom faculty as among the top 2% of the world’s most impactful scientists and researchers by Stanford University.
- The launch of the Ravi K. Mehrotra Institute for Business, Markets & Society, the mission of which is to help students, industry leaders, regulators, and the broader public understand and appreciate the role business and markets do, can, and should play in creating lasting prosperity, advancing societal goals, and solving global challenges.
- The appointment of Peter Fasolo as Director of the Human Resources Policy Institute, which aims to innovate modern HR policy and practice through research, professional development, and academic learning.
- The creation of the Master of Science in Finance program, providing students with a versatile skillset with an emphasis on state-of-the-art analytical methods and models in the world of finance, critical and strategic thinking skills for financial decision making, effective presentation and communication skills, strong group leadership potential, as well as ethical and social responsibility.
“We’ve been working very hard to add flexibility, differentiation, customization, and excitement,” said Susan Fournier, Allen Questrom Professor and Dean of Questrom School of Business. “We have a full-time MBA, part-time MBA, online MBA, and then we have specialty MBAs, the health sector MBA, the digital tech MBA, and the social impact MBA. We definitely have been doing more communication around the fact that we do have those specializations. And I think it’s starting to take hold.”

U.S. News & World Report rankings, which have been released annually for more than 40 years, are determined by a number of factors, including: employment rates and salary outcomes of graduates, academic metrics, and surveys from students, administrators, and other industry professionals.
