Boston Business Journal recently published an article featuring Greg Stoller, Master Lecturer of Strategy and Innovation, discussing how golf serves as a significant tool for networking and relationship-building.
Golfing provides opportunities for extended interaction outside the office, allowing individuals to learn about each other’s personalities while engaging in a leisurely activity.
“It’s a good opportunity to really get to know somebody because you’re spending four hours with them. It’s a perfect microcosm, that you really get to see how people are,” Stoller adds.
The popularity of traditional golf as a business outing has persisted, yet newer options like golf simulators and new-era mini-golf venues have begun to rise in popularity.
