Boston 25 News recently published an article featuring Greg Stoller, Master Lecturer of Strategy and Innovation, discussing the current state of the job market.
In recent years, workers have benefited from low unemployment and the flexibility to switch jobs for better pay. However, the job market is now tightening, with increased layoffs and a significant slowdown in job creation. As a result, workers are finding it harder to secure new opportunities or negotiate substantial raises.
“I think what’s going on in the job market now is everyone is skittish. I think everybody wants to know, is Harris going to get in, is Trump going to get in, and what’s going to happen,” Stoller adds.
As uncertainty looms, employees are encouraged to excel in their roles, build internal networks, and maintain visibility, especially remote workers.
