Charles Chu is an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations at Boston University Questrom School of Business. His research has focused on how social structures, such as contract work and other modern work arrangements influence people’s sense of identity and meaning in life. Charles has also examined how challenges to the existing racial hierarchy create disruptions to Americans’ experiences of meaning in life, and how those effects might be mitigated.
