Senior Lecturer of Marketing and Director of the Questrom Communications Program Michelle Ehrenreich was recently featured in Forbes on crisis management in organizations. Specifically, Michelle provided tips and best practices for organizations to improve their communication.
To help executives understand what is happening inside their companies and avert potential crises, she said they should consider implementing these policies and procedures:
• A robust communication infrastructure to ensure that issues can float up to the top of the organization in a timely manner.
• Using a variety of communication vehicles that includes not only mass broadcast emails and newsletters but more importantly, ample opportunities for two-way interactive communication.
