The Academy of Management recently awarded Douglas Hannah, Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations, with the Kauffman Best Paper in Entrepreneurial Cognition Award for his co-authored paper, “Commitment and Learning in Ventures’ Pursuit of Product-market Fit in Digital Health.” The judges commended the paper for its “managerial relevance, offering clear and important guidance for entrepreneurs and managers” operating in dynamic environments.
The award recognizes the best faculty-led and student-led papers in entrepreneurial cognition. The ceremony featured Pecha Kucha-style presentations, a dynamic and fast-paced format designed to showcase innovative ideas, followed by a brief Q&A session and closing remarks.
The award was presented at the 84th Academy of Management Annual Meeting, held on August 9th in Chicago.
