We are proud to share that Jetson Leder-Luis, Assistant Professor of Markets, Public Policy, and Law, has been appointed Deputy Executive Director of the newly established Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, created by the White House.
In this role, Jetson will help shape policies to eliminate fraud in public benefits programs, drawing directly on his research to inform more effective oversight, strengthen program integrity, and improve how these systems are implemented in practice.
The Task Force will convene leaders across government to strengthen eligibility verification, implement pre-payment safeguards, detect high-risk fraud patterns, and disrupt organized fraud networks. It will also work to establish baseline anti-fraud standards, including identity verification, risk controls, and audit mechanisms, while coordinating efforts across agencies and delivering regular updates to the President.
