Jetson Leder-Luis Named Senior Advisor for Healthcare Fraud at U.S. Department of HHS

Jetson Leder-Luis

Jetson Leder-Luis is an assistant professor at Boston University and a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER. He also currently serves as the Senior Advisor for Healthcare Fraud at the Department of Health and Human Services. His research addresses fraud in public programs, especially Medicare, including studying effective anti-fraud policy and developing statistical methods to detect and measure fraud. His work has been published in academic journals such as The Journal of Political Economy and The American Economic Review and featured in popular media such as Bloomberg and The New Yorker. He received his Ph.D. from MIT Economics in 2020.
