We are excited to announce that Gerry Tsoukalas, Associate Professor of Information Systems, has been named to the Class of 2025 Thinkers50 Radar list. Each January, the Thinkers50 Radar highlights 30 emerging thinkers whose ideas are set to shape the future of management. This prestigious list recognizes fresh talent and groundbreaking insights, providing early guidance to managers, publishers, and other thought leaders.
Gerry’s research blends domain expertise, data, and advanced models to help companies harness the potential of AI and Web3, enabling leaders to transform disruption into opportunity by modernizing outdated strategies and business models.
In his Thinkers50 selected Harvard Business Review article, “How PayPal Gets Employees Invested in Innovation,” Gerry explains how PayPal tackled the challenges of crowdsourcing innovation through a blockchain-based token system that allows employees to “wager” on ideas, helping to filter out ineffective ones.
In addition to his role at Questrom, Gerry serves as Faculty Director for Graduate Analytics and holds secondary appointments as a senior fellow at Wharton, visiting professor at IMD, and fellow at both the Luohan Academy and Cornell’s FinTech Initiative.
