The article highlights a 2021 Refinery29 piece about Dunkin and how its branding is friendly and not overcomplicated. Recently the company has even gone viral on Reddit for its unusual donuts available in Austria.
Through colorful donuts and easy to understand language on their menu, Dunkin has become a friendly face in the fast-casual food world and Susan emphasized how its branding feeds into the self-image of its customers by saying, “[Dunkin’s] authenticity is perfect for those who are not pretentious.”
